oh and Johnie Byrne dropping every 'H'..
Total nightmare with Hammond, Hinshelwood, Hart and Henderson in the team

and while we're at it names like Frutos come out as Fruu os, drives me made. I don't exactly talk with a plum in my mouth, but with a young child getting picked up for the same thing, it drives Mrs O and myself round the twist listening to Johnie. Pity really cos eez a legend!!

'it has to be said' - does it really?
'i must admit' - must you?

I don't know where my dad gets those two from, but it's very annoying!

People who still use the :censored: word "ickle", jesus that programme finished years ago, and the word was annoying then. Chris Evans has a lot to answer for, anyone who still thinks its funny, cute, or whatever to use this word should be shot

Don't beat around the bush, mate... just shoot Chris Evans

"Almost exactly...."

Hate it. It's either "almost" something or it's "exactly" something.

Using the word "so" before a negative, such as "You are so not going to do that", what on earth does that mean, it just sounds stupid.

Great. Another 'grumpy old men' thread.

Ah well, while I'm here.... "xxxxx is a massive game." Like, I mean, are there no routine games for managers any more, can't some just be important, or possibly vital ones?

Somehow, whatever the timing, "Crewe is a massive game" or "Millwall is a massive game" sounds faintly absurd...
