Are you sure your Morton-supporting plumber DID actually go to the Goldstone Bensgrandad? Because other than the fact that there's a football pitch in the middle the two grounds have nothing in common.

Think he may be getting mixed up with Ayr United - two covered end terraces, main stand opposite uncovered terrace. CBA to find & attach a picture - can anybody oblige please???

I have been to Greenonk Mortons Stadium(Cappielow Park) and in all truth it is similar to the Goldstone if memory serves me right. And they also play in Blue and White to similar i would say.

While we are on the subject - I thought that Cheltenham's main stand looked identical to the old west stand at the Goldstone.

Cant be bothered to post a link but just had a look on Internet Football Ground Guide and I am right!
