West is BEST
Haven’t seen any of this series. Was waiting for them to all be available on iPlayer and then have a rainy day watch.

I probably still will but my enthusiasm has waned somewhat.

They are definitely milking the concept. The originality and charm are pretty much gone. It's a pleasant facsimile of the original series. A Constable on a buscuit tin lid if you will.

The rest of the series is great, but last night’s was a disaster……..
Really was poor, shouldn't have bothered with the episode with no Bob

Agreed, initially I thought oh this could be interesting, I wonder what "man talk/Issues" they will discuss and it was two seconds on Lee's meditation. The magnet fishing was a weak attempt at humour that failed miserably.

No Bob means no humour because Paul Whitehouse is not actually funny. He just plays off Bob. In every series Whitehouse is there to fish, Bob is there to have fun. Lee Mack is also not funny.

It's certainly got the anti-woke mob frothing at the gash over on 'X'.

I only saw the last minute or so and my one takeaway was 'that looks a lovely place'.
