I'd just use thequandry as an excuse to not get married at all. Marriage means FA these days unles you do it for religious reasons.

I was 1 of 3 best-men a few years back. Admittedly some people will take on more responsibilities than others but it seemed to work fairly well. Some might think it's a tad naff but hey ho! As Nwgull stated, i don't really think marriage is for me and i've been with my bird for 5 years and i'm doing my best to make her forget about having kids anytime soon. Difficult when most of her friends are dropping on a regular basis. I find travelling is a decent distraction. You can't do that with a baby thats for sure

I had two and worked really well. They were more confident during the speech and the double act was great.

This. I've been best man 3 times, first 2 were on my own and absolutely was bricking it as I came upto the speeches. When there were 2 of us it made it alot easier and more enjoyable.

It's your wedding, do whatever the f*** makes you happy. I wouldn't pick between my brothers.

This (again). The worst weddings are the ones you go to and you can see that the bride and groom have bought a book and followed it to a 't'. Absolutely nothing about their personalities in the event. Happily, they are few of them.
