rather than shittest

John Sebastian of the Lovin' Spoonfull about 10 years ago at a London venue I forget. His voice was totally shot and the consequently the whole concert was cringeworthy.

Ian Brown solo supporting the Manics a few years ago, despite really liking his solo stuff, his voice just cannot cut it live and it was almost embarassing how poor the music was, shame seeing as he will always be a total legend in my eyes.

I went to see the Sisters of Mercy at Rock City Nottingham. I don't think it was them really as there was lots of dry ice and there was a bald Jimmy Saville look a like on stage. :lolol:

In other words total shit :lolol:

Should of gave up a long time ago

The saddest gig I went to was Spear of Destiny playing to 20 people in a dodgy pub in Coventry.

I saw the Troggs at Jenkinson's in about 1976 whilst I had the misfortune to work there and there were only about 30 people there. They were quite good though.

Oasis @ Milton Keynes couple of summers ago I think. Shit place, they didn't want to be there, dreadful sound, took hours to get out of the car park let alone home. Very dissapoiting hope they do a good venue for the tour with the greatest hits if there is one.

Also Blur @ the Brighton Centre few years ago, the band I'd most wanted to see since i was at school and it was crap, not impressed at all

I've seen a few but the most dissapointing was Bobby Brown at Wembley Arena.

Bob Dylan at the Sydney Entertainment Centre about 3 years ago. Mrs GB is a MASSIVE Dylan fan and I've always liked his earlier stuff. Whether he was actually out of the game that night or was suffering the cumulative effects of his lifestyle I'm not sure but every single song was mumbled and slurred to exactly the same formularic Blues guitar drone. I was quite disappointed but the Mrs was distraught. Worse he was supported by Annie De Franco who's great on CD/Vinyl but had clearly taken a whole factory full of Mad Bitch pills that night.

I used to really like them as well. After that gig I never really bothered with them again.

I caught them down the concorde 2 years ago and it was a proper nostalgia night, great stuff in fact !!
