What if they are only 13/14?

Then they get soldiers to dip in their egg.

Not sure what relevance their age has. 10 is the criminal age of responsibility in the UK.

If your mum or gran had been attacked by these scumbags, you trying to tell me that they should be given a weeks holiday and a book token if they are only 13/14?

If it were Southend or Blackpool, that would be way too harsh.

I'm not sure I believe that - I suspect that is an urban myth. It doesn't make sense for a criminal to be allowed to compromise their own safety so as to improve their chances of escaping.

Saw a group of four mopeds smashing up bikes in Brighton station at 7.20.am. Riding around like loons wearing masks. So obvious. Don't know why police were not on them. Very menacing behaviour
I thought this was a London phenomena
OB aren't bothered because it's not football related.

That just mentions aims and plans. It hasn't become law yet, so in the meantime, if a criminal dies as a result of being chased on a bike, the police chasing can still be charged.

Question.
As I pointed out earlier, this took place on station premises, so therefore under BTP jurisdiction. Do BTP have motorbike riders who can give chase to these vandals?

No...

Need more police and supply them with motorbikes so they can keep up with these b*stards. When they are caught - crush their mopeds, fine them, ban them from driving and put them on a curfew. Second offence, jail.

Cut their goolies off. Cut them off, right away.

Does this mean that if I drive at 120mph without a seat belt then they won't pursue in case they cause an accident?

Have you not watched any of those cracking 'police camera action' programmes on channel 5? And to correct others on here, it is when the driver becomes a clear danger to OTHERS that the OB back off. I'm sure that Edna can confirm. If the dickers munter their own worthlessness that's their problem. The difficulty is that the two (danger to others and danger to selves) generally go hand in hand. The latter, however, is not the game calling issue in a chase. It is the former. Think about it.....anyone suggesting that socialist bleeding heart Britain, or the EU (that owns us) have a law which says no criminal should be chased and apprehended if there is a possibility the criminal may get hurt, is making stuff up.

Indeed. I thought I would elaborate for the benefit of those who claim, for example, that the Britsh police are giving money to Muslisms on motorbikes, as long as they claim to be speeding for Allah (etc etc).

I hate hearing stories like this. You get back off your train after a long day a work and find your bike smashed up by a bunch of bellends on mopeds. I hope the police do chase them and if they don't fall off their stupid mopeds locked up the tw@ts

There not mopeds.
