A while ago now, I remember a genuine advert for the flat earth society that said more and more people “AROUND THE GLOBE “ are questioning the conspiracy of the earth being a globe.

On the 50th anniversary of the landings, H and J on TS were discussing the conspiracy theories, and came to the conclusion that there were literally too many people directly involved with NASA, for it not to have come out over 50years if it had been faked.
Yes, very much this. There is a process of logic that says that such a faked event could never hold the line with the tens of thousands that would have been involved in the process. For that reason I've never even thought about it.

It was funny when the Indians landed on the moon recently. The detractors were saying they didn't and it was computer simulation. It was, because the screen was showing how the rocket was landing. It's like folk's brains get fried by these things.

Still, it looks like there is a race to put someone on the moon again in the next few years. So that should put an end to it.

It's an interesting subject. America were desperate to get there before the Russians. Would they have gone to such lengths as too fake it though?

Then there's the 'van allen radiation belt' that they would have to have passed through. People question why they haven't gone back since? There's not much there would be my reply.

Also I'm sure I read somewhere that NASA lost all of the research and technology for the first moon landing? Although I stand to be corrected.
There were 5 more moon landings after the original Apollo 11.

I had a lovely little trip to the Herstmonceux Observatory a couple of years ago. We got to look through one of the big telescopes at the moon. I’d say it was like looking out the window of a plane at the Earth but it was a lot closer than that. The details I saw on the moon surface with the crators were extraordinary.

So it’s not shock to me that it would have been possible to see the moon landing sites too if the telescope had been set to the right location:

In summary, if you don’t believe in the moon landings you are either a grifter who makes money or gets power and attention by spouting these pathetic theories (Trump) or you are someone in need of picking up a Darwin Award and should be sterilised.

Hmm. I dunno. Those vehicles look a bit shonky to me.

Please don’t bite your tongue.
I'm genuinely interested to know your intelligent though possibly crazy thoughts.
I might learn something.

Oh Jaaaaysus. No. Nope. No. No. No. No. don’t. Please please please please please please please please don’t.

:lolol:
No worries, I'm saving you from this one. I really don't have any firm belief on this particular one anyway. I'm interested in the occult and the esoteric stuff, particular events like this usually don't grab too much of my time.

There were 5 more moon landings after the original Apollo 11.

And they were all faked in the same studio in the NASA headquarters in Washington DC.

This is my brother-in-law, Andrew Gelfman, who passed away in January 2020.

He worked at NASA administration headquarters in Washington DC. for NASA Television. In the late 1990's Andrew whispered in my ear "You want to see where NASA faked the moon landings?" He took me to a studio way in the back of the NASA administration building which is at 300 E Street SW. The studio looked very much like the landscape of the moon. He kept telling me that I could never tell my sister, his wife, because she really believes, like a lot of people who were alive in the late 1960's, that we landed on the moon then. It actually wasn't till much later that we landed on the moon. Actually it was in 1984 when the Russians were boycotting the US held Olympics in Los Angeles and were distracted that we snuck a 5 man crew to the moon and truly created what NASA had faked in a studio.

Please forgive me if but I'm reluctant to accept a statement from someone who was about 3 years old at the time as eye witness testimony.

oh bollocks, wrong option. who writes a question in the headline then the opposite question on the poll? probably a setup to skew the result :moo:
Ah, me too! Well, that explains the high number of conspiracy theorists. :ROFLMAO:

Born in 1961, I was 8 years old. Although my brother-in-law, Andrew was only 4 years old.

You're not really sure, are you?

Well, I'm as serious as Andrew was that day at NASA headquarters. We were wearing official visitor badges for gosh sakes!

How did he know, being 4 years’ old in 1969?

He started working for NASA in the 1990's, I believe, and was told by one of the older gentlemen that began NASA television in the 1980's. The older guy said Neil Armstrong was one of the better actors for an astronaut and was chosen as the one to fake the stepping on the moon. He did have a powerful story to tell later.

Some photos could be doctored, but there are mirrors on the moon, placed by the Apollo missions, which are in use today to measure the distance to the moon accurately, with lasers.

Absolutely THIS….
Went for NO but meant YES, Very ambiguous poll combined with two questions with NO option to change a vote given mistakenly….
Note to self, ‘Read the question twice’ in future……….
