Monty Python or Fawlty Towers?

Not very easy to directly compare the two but I personally find Fawlty Towers more consistently funny, Python was always a bit hit and miss for me.

Not sure since I have never seen Father Ted. It must be very good to beat FT.
Every so often a work of comedic brilliance comes around. There has been dreck like Not the 9o'clock news, but then there's been Young Ones and Ali G/Borat/Bruno.
