1705 tickets on the exchange for tonight's game.

Why do so many people hate Monday night football compared to a Tuesday or Thursday?

Because it is a properly SHIT night for football.

(Don't know why really - it just is).

The club have missed a trick here – they should've marketed it as 'BLUE (AND WHITE) MONDAY!'

I am in two minds whether to go or not. Monday, get home 11pm, work tomorrow !!
Or watch on TV in warm!!
Will probably go and be one of the moaned at leavers on 85 mins to beat the after game rush.. Ten mins early easily equates to home 40 mins earlier.

Because it's on the telly (TNT Sport), the weather's not great and the trains are shit? Probably a lot of folks with a few financial hangovers from xmas also

It'll get worse as I'm sure I can't be the only one thinking 'if the game allows us to leave early we're offski'.

Worst time of the year for a lot of people financially. Not good for kids- I can get away with taking mine to a European game on a Thursday night with one day left at school for the week, but no chance for a Monday night against Wolves. I thought the fact that it feels like we haven't played for ages would help, but it doesn't seem so.

Yes, it's the worst kick off slot. Sadly, as an NFL fan you can blatantly blame our friends in the US of A who created Monday Night Football as a thing many years ago to squeeze an extra TV game out of a weekend.

The weekend is done, you have gone back to work, kids have school the next day BUT it's finishing off the last round of fixtures rather than being a round in and of itself or a special game like a cup game or European game.

Do I want to go out on a windy Monday night with the weekend firmly behind me? No. Will I? Of course.

Considering how long it’s been…I thought I would be more excited than this.
But I’m not.
That said, if it’s another 6-0 goalfest, I could be persuaded….

Why do so many people hate Monday night football compared to a Tuesday or Thursday?
Because I booked the weekend off work as the match was originally supposed to be over the weekend and now I'm stuck working till 6.30 where it takes at least 2 hours to get to the football.
