True but that was a different era. Ive not seen Monakana play (other than youtube) so I cant comment, but he sounds very up and down so there maybe hope for him, but by 21 you like to see players making atleast sub appearances.

He has not even threatened the first team - I stand by what I said - he's 21 and can't even get near the first team despite us having a very poor season - he needs to move on

A loan to Aberdeen is the same as a loan to a League 2 club.

Monakana now on loan at Mansfield , the Scottish equivalent would be a club like Rangers.

If we need a winger why not give this lad a go? 21 years old, well thought of by all accounts when loaned to Aberdeen... Or was he another tripe Burke purchase who had no chance of making our first team? How many free loaders do we have on the wage bill currently?? If (and it's a big if) we stay up hopefully our new scout can look beyond players with terrible attitudes/injury problems as that has been one of our main failings this season.
