As such this isnt a tip as i know little about motor racing and certainly havnt been told by a bloke in a pub about this, but i placed a bet on Rosberg yesterday £5 e/w at the mind boggling price of 33-1,he was fastest in practice.and with qualifying due to start in a while i thought id share this with all my cyber chums, basicly if you get pole at monaco and your car remains reliable and you dont hit a cow its pretty hard not to win from the front,i hope you all win lots n lots of money have a lovely day n dont start wingeing to me if he fucks up in qualifying

Hamilton seems to be back on the ball, or at least his car is much improved, as he was performing impressively in practice and it seems he is on the up.

I wouldn't bet against Lewis getting his first victory of the season here

Valid point. The Monaco GP is like racing in a drainpipe, there are only two places where you can overtake I believe. Whoever gets pole is usually a cert for a podium unless it is lost in the pits or by a mech failure.

Hamilton would be my bet mainly because at Monaco you need to be fearless, and as we saw last year when he won it he was totally fearless.

I love the Monaco GP, of the whole F1 season it's the one race which always seems to have that special 'big event' atmosphere about it.

Hamilton is going like a rocket at the moment in 3'rd practice.
He's done a 1:15.622

You'll get an even better price if you bet on me being offered a seat and winning it. Practice and qualifying are very different.

Its you, Why do you think that anyway?

Every time Jake or Coulthard ask him a question, he always ALWAYS replies with something snidey, or just says "move on" - he's being an absolute dick, if he didn't want to be a pundit, then why is he even bothering? Comes from the Lawrenson / Hansen school of being a jerk on the telly.

Excellent, always lovely when a Ferrari gets bent !...... I remember when they had a phase of blowing engines about 10 years back and that was always spectacular, especially at speed. They used to look like a comet... marvellous scenes !
