Saw Radiohead support Kingmaker at Brighton Uni in 1993.

Then supported them at the Richmond later that year (March IIRC).

I knew they were going to be something special even on that tour.

In a pile of football shirts
Hawkwind Spirit of the Age Tour 1977, their last classic lineup & mad Bob Calvert on vocals ripping up the Stars & Stripes with a samurai sword while singing Hassan I Sahba.

The whole gig came to a crashing halt as the Manchester Hells Angels took on the Security.

Hawkwind playing in Worthing on Saturday \o/ will be the first time I've ever seen them.

Abba - twice - at Wembley Arena.

Queen at the Brighton Centre and Knebworth.

Six of the Best at Milton Keynes Bowl.

Also saw UB40 supporting (I think) the Pretenders at the Top Rank just before their first single release. Possibly could have been supporting Third World, though. My memory of who supported who at Top Rank gigs is a bit sketchy.

Elvis Costello at the Top Rank supported by John Cooper Clarke.

The Wall at Earls Court.

When Joe Pesci introduced Bob Gaudio to Frankie Valli. What a moment in history that was.

Also the legendary Jimi Hendrix performance in a small bar the day that Martin Luther King died. Apparently the gig to end all gigs.

All I can say is that I hope, after all these wrinkle-tastic years, Stacia won't be on stage with them. . . .

The Brighton Centre,1982. The Jam's last ever gig.

I was there.

Were you at the Embassy Cinema in Western Road when they played their first Brighton gig? 1977? 'Punky Steve', all sulfated out, picking fights on the way in? That was an odd evening, but the music was crackin'

Yeah saw them support Sultans of Ping FC at the Wheatsheaf in Stoke in 92. Ridiculous really.

Saw the Manics there too in Jan 91, thought they were the support band at the start!
