Moises is absolutely unreal, he brings such a huge amount to the team with his energy and defensive instincts. He's a generational talent and he will play at the top of the game for a decade.

Alexis Mac is brilliant and will always get more attention for his higher goals and assists output. He's a fantastic player but Moises is better in my opinion and if you polled the Albion dressing room I'm sure they'd agree. What Alexis gives you you can try and replace but Moises plays a really rare style.

Yes. For me that was one of the top 3 highlights for me for Alexis in an Albion shirt.

Moises by a mile. His ability to tackle back and block and disposses in impossible situations is incredible. It's so difficult to find these kind of players.

Only time will tell with maccer but I don't think we will miss him at all. And I don't think he will stand out at Liverpool.

It's when you watch Moises live that you really realise how good he is. His ability to cover ground is insane. He has the reading of the game of a true master but the recovery ability of an animal like Biss. His vision and passing is exceptional and we've probably not seen his full potential going forward as he's quite restricted under RDZ.

I have found myself quite simply in awe of Caicedo’s ability to recover the ball without scything people’s legs off, just leaving them bemused in his wake. I can remember many years ago (1970 World Cup , I think) seeing Bobby Moore slide tackling someone and coming out the other side standing up with the ball at his feet. Moises can do that.
And so powerful.

I love Mac Allister but as this vote shows, it's not close for me. I think Caicedo is a generational midfielder, up there with Bellingham - those two likely to be recognised as the two best in the world soon IMO.

Reading some of the comments on the various threads this week, I'm not sure some people fully appreciate how good Mac Allister is. His ability to find space and always receive the ball into space puts him in that Xavi, Iniesta bracket where they just instinctively knit everything together. It was this level that made him such an important part of Argentina's world cup win.

Caicedo has many attributes in excess of Alexis, but not in all departments.

A tough crowd on here. I would tend to agree with the consensus that Caciedo is the harder to replace, but Mac Alister also had a fantastic season. His ability to retain possession, even with three opponents in close attendance is something I will always remember and Messi fully appreciated his ability to always be available to receive a pass. I am hopeful that De Zerbi will put more trust in Moder than Potter did and let him show what he can do in a more central role.

As a few have also pointed out Caceido plus Mac Alister was a world class combination and rather than try and downgrade one, to big up the other, I would rather cherish the season we have had, where we got to see them play together as part of a fantastic Brighton team.

I would just add, Mac losing this vote is in no way a reaction to him leaving or a comment on his ability. Clearly one of the best players we've ever had. Just Moises is Moises.

Mac Allister is a far more talented footballer, though, IMO.

I believe Moises contributes more to the team and if we could keep one would also chose Moises. Alexis IMO plays better with better players around him (Winning the World cup he shone and was compared with Messi).
Moises is more of a terrier, fighting and more often than not winning the ball against any player. Alexis going for £35m + add on however seems a bargain for Liverpool.
Surely Moises after bossing game when we defeated Arsenal 3-0 who wanted him earlier for £70m must be worth £100m . Still only 21 so presumably will get better !

The £35m simply reflects the contract clause.

With 4 years to run and no such clause, midfield maestro Mac would be worth double that. He runs games, opponents only counter is to foul him.
