Lets have a quick look at Arsenal forums to see how they are taking it...
Not well, apparently.
Not well, apparently.
The London clubs supporters, always a latent arrogance, even when years or decades pass without the big prizes. And it's quite odd given that they haven't won the league for a couple of decades.
Uh huh...The club want to manage the amount of chat about him going, and make it clear that he's not for sale, so it looks like they've decided to give Naylor some information on this occasion. That doesn't mean that Naylor's had inside information every single time he posts about possible Brighton transfers. And Naylor is paid to write about Brighton, so when he isn't fed info from the club, he makes stuff up, like most other journalists.
The fact that fans aren't shouting 'Naylor knows nothing' is because this time it looks like he has been told something, which is evidence that when he is criticised it's not just because it's him, it's because his posts sometimes lack credibility.
Examples please. Pretty please.Lets have a quick look at Arsenal forums to see how they are taking it...

I am going to buy that presenter’s house. I have decided the price. There’s a feeling the presenter is going to have to change his stance if I am going to make another offer. It’s not for sale you say ? So ?Brighton are going the wrong way about trying to sell their player
These people are paid for this shit
NaaaaaahUh oh
It’s been rumoured they may well doI’m surprised they have not gone for Tielemans personally. Decent player, last 6 months of his contract. They could get him for a decent price.
Truly the best of times. And, as we all know, they don't last forever.MacAllister - Caicedo - Mitoma
Looks like we have a few more months to enjoy watching these world class players in the stripes
In 20 years time we will reminisce about the year these three lined up for our club.
.
Ive amended your post to allow for tomorrows possible transfer activityChelsea also have the issue that PL and CL squads lists are 25 players only
... not the 225 they have on the payroll at present
But with two recent changes to that established order:The excellent Rory Smith made a very similar point on the 5Live Monday Night Club a few months back. I'm guessing it was sometime around the beginning of the season when Potter was still with us.
In essence, he said the "big clubs" were happy to let the "small clubs" do the scouting, recruiting and polishing and then pay them handsomely for their efforts once a player was PL-proven.
Like it or not, that is largely how it is, isn't it?
Gallagher would say goodbye to winning anything, ever.Reeks of total desperation. Id be embarrassed if I was an Everton fan.
Stepping stone. Go there. Play every week for 18 months then go to big gun if he is good enough. Newcastle more likely though I think.Gallagher would say goodbye to winning anything, ever.
Everton won’t beat mega spending Mancs x 2, Newcastle, Chelsea and Arsenal to trophies.
He can’t be forced to leave.
Why would he want to join Everton?
The Chelsea and Arsenal scouts monitoring this thread are now desperately searching their databases for a young up-and-coming player called Dave Stoke.Stoke!
Wrong bloody thread
