And we are thriving even though a significant proportion of Brighton fans thought the sky would fall in after Chelsea tried to pick us clean - Chelsea have dropped to 10th and we are holding on at 6th despite their efforts to ‘implant’ Brighton’s success formula at Stamford Bridge.

We're only half way through the season and haven't won or achieved anything yet.

This season could still go down the shitter with all this nonsense hanging around the club like a bad smell.

It’s ridiculous- he just doesn’t like De Zerbi because he’s not Potter.
I like De Zerbi. Liking him doesn't mean I have to love everything he does or says, but that seems to be very difficult to understand.
Must be a real pisser RDZ is doing better with the same group of players. We all thought we needed a quality striker and problem solved under Potter, nope Potter was just crap 😂😂
Well, not really a subject for this thread but no, he isn't doing better.

It’s inevitable we will loose WC players like Mackie, Mitoma and Caicedo - it was always on the cards for the Summer transfer window - it’s a shame and personally I don’t like ‘just follow the money mate’ side of the business any more than any other fan - however, January is a seller’s market and we can get a club record transfer fee for MC which can only be good business - it’s ours for the asking. Geeze, we paid £4.5m - you have to laugh at TB’s chutzpah!

However, it’s maybe worth repeating that in the space of 6 months we lost:
Our Manager
Bissouma
Cucurella
Trossard
Our first team coaches: Billy Reid, Bjorn Hamberg, Bruno Saltor
Our goalkeeping coach: Ben Roberts
Our recruitment analyst Kyle Macaulay
Our Head of Recruitment- Paul Winstanley

And we are thriving even though a significant proportion of Brighton fans thought the sky would fall in after Chelsea tried to pick us clean - Chelsea have dropped to 10th and we are holding on at 6th despite their efforts to ‘implant’ Brighton’s success formula at Stamford Bridge.

I am very excited (with the injury proviso) about Buonanotte’s addition to the squad, along with Ferguson’s striker abilities - Pervis has more than made up for loosing Cucu and Caicedo was a better MF replacement for Biss than we could have hoped for. I think by the end of the season we will already have some idea of what the new ‘engine room‘ will look like. We can get through this season without MC to finish it and still finish in a good top 10 position or even qualify for Europe. Next season, who knows what new players the club will have signed but they will certainly not be of less calibre than our current squad deserves IMO.
Those names and what we’ve lost - that’s why one more (who I consider our most important player with Dunky) is so hard to take. So hard. Especially when you can clearly clearly clearly see it’s the agents driving it.

He's just a childish twat. Palace fans talk about Palace on here, but don't jump on every thread to take the piss. Swanny is the equivalent, but does go on all threads to take the piss. I have no idea why he is tolerated.

Sky reporting the Daily Mail as saying:

1. The offer's now £60m + £10m in add ons.
2. Bloom will accept £80m.

We know that the tabloids are liars about literally everything. I though Sky rated themselves on sports news as a cut above, not using stocking fillers from the gutter press.
You joking? Sky sports news has 2 rent a gobs who are on tele every night chatting transfers. They need stories, any story to fill that

At some point soon, Arsenal will have to go back for Tielemans. Looks like Partey in injured.

It’ll be hilarious how much Leicester will now milk from them for a player with 6 months on his contract. I suspect it’ll be a record fee for a player on that contractual position.

Moisés’ sham agents, Manuel & Manuel LTD will then have to face their client and explain not only why they have made him upset our club and fans, but also, how Tielemans will be wearing the Arsenal shirt he coverted. What a mess.

Jeff Stelling talking sense as always.
Tim sherwood has not seen caicedo if he thinks he is out and holding midfielder and can’t pass forwards. Merson watched him destroy Liverpool last week. Insane he seems to have forgotten.

Merson is in that instance very pro Arsenal and I guess when it comes to their interests can be very intellectually myopic.

Of course he’s doing better? What the hell? Better football, more goals, better results, playing more youngsters. By any metric he’s doing better.

Why are you even here? We don’t want you or your comments, it was tolerated when it was related to Potter but just head of to Chelsea’s forum and leave us in peace.

Players like Mitoma come around once in a blue moon. without spending a fortune almost impossible to replace in the summer if he goes.

Just no point bothering - it was pointed out a while ago and a number of posters stood up for him for some reason.

You are probably right. In general I don’t object to him really, though it’s weird he’s still here, but comments like we aren’t doing better is just absolute rubbish that a basic look at points tally’s for this season versus last would confirm. Grinds my gears…

Good for you, but as I said, back in the real world. He's looking out for his family and probably extended family. Something that, for example, Enoch can't now do to the extent he would have done had he still be playing.

As for nurturing, he hasn't even been with us two years. You make it sound like we've had him since he was 14 and have developed him over a long period of time.
So our two years tracking him and courting him for a possible move to us was for nothing , all the while several other teams including United gave up on him while we sent people over to talk about his future and assure his family we`d take care of him was worth nothing to you ? .

Then we brought him and some of his family to Brighton and found a home for him and again assured his family he would be looked after . We trained him looked after his health through diet and training , all the time making sure he had Spanish speakers around to help him while teaching him English .

Then after a lot of good coaches helped him progress and loaned him to Beerschot after which we involved him in the 1st team for which he was a permanent fixture . But apparently greed took over and he wanted to sell the club that had done all this for him , and gave him the chance not even Utd would down the road for a quick payday .

He should have done the decent thing and waited until summer for his move with our blessings , instead he would rather see the Albion`s best EVER season in their history go down the shitter for a payday with a 5th rate agent to a 6th rate team .

No your right , what have we done for him :tosser:

Mate you’re a broken record. I know it’s eating you up that RDZ is showing Potter up to actually be an under achiever with us but the petty digs are just sad.
