Caicedo is such an exciting prospect but I can't help feeling the club have made a mistake in not moving on Davy Propper.

Moder and Caicedo are international players too, as is Alzate, while Bissouma, Gross and White have all done well in midfield too.

Maybe that will happen over summer...current market would suggest it’s not that easy to move on players

Outstanding signing, really looking forward to seeing how he adapts to the Premier League

Agreed, been watching the thread since it started. Just need to make sure we stay up to see him help us to the top 10 target.

I imagine he'll impress in early training coming from 3,000m to <50m. Anyone on here know anything about physiology?

So glad the club didn't shove him out on loan , patience may well be the game Potter plays with him , but there's no doubt in my mind if Potter reckons he's good enough we will see him in the matchday squad before seasons end .

We shouldn't expect anything from this lad for a while , a good pre season in the summer and hopefully he will be fully Potterised and ready to go , hopefully in the Premier League next season .

That signing looks to have been a logistical nightmare, so well done to all those responsible for getting the deal done other clubs basically couldn't be arsed to bother with .

yeah i would think the club wont make the same mistake they made with Macallister. He came here from Argentina and we thought we was instantly going to set the world on fire based on feedback and after a few goals early on he gets dropped and often not even in the matchday squad. Came back strong this season after having 6 months to settle in. If they give Moses the same leaway then we probably wont see him till next season. Having said that he could be another Lamptey and the boss may want to throw him towards the end of the season once we are safe with 5 games to go :clap2:

Only just looked at his show reel he looks an exciting prospect but he's young and some of those lunge tackles will result in injury over here on a cold wet pitch, I would not be surprised if we don't see him play for some time

When I first watched the show reel, my first thought was that he would definitely pick up a few bookings in the PL.

Ye, cant play the same way in Europe as you do in South America would be collecting yellows and reds every game. Definitely will take some time to adapt to that, especially as a defensive midfielder.

I’m just with my mate Warren and he wanted me to ask you if you know how to pronounce his name?

I’m going with Cay-Thee-Do and Warren reckon’s its Cackeddo

I'm beginning to think that the club sign players with awkward-to-pronounce names, just to trip Warren up. Witness his previous efforts 'Iz-que-ardo' and 'Tossard'.

Journalist and South American football expert Simon Edwards describes him as the “best teenager in South America”.

Edwards says: “He is always available to receive, always knows the pass he hopes to make and always has an alternative outlet if the option closes off.

“Throw in elite athleticism, pace, and tenacity, and he has really got the lot.

“Moises is special. His game intelligence is significantly higher than comparably gifted and athletic players. He is already the most important player in the Ecuador national team and within two months, was dominating in the Libertadores.

“Independiente won the Under-20 Libertadores with him in front of the defence but within a month or so, he was playing as a complete No 8.

“We are talking about the most important player for the third-placed team in South American World Cup qualifying. In terms of pedigree and big-game experience, he is ahead of all of them so far in his very short career. If he was Brazilian, he would be £50 million-plus.”

That’s 2 or 3 very respected SA based journos now saying the same thing about this bloke. If he really shows it at Lancing too - where does he play and who does he displace?

Looking at this highlights thread, he looks like a natural replacement for Biss, who, as we all know, is likely to head off for £50m in the summer.... and good luck to him.

Lots of getting his toe in, disruptive and awkward to deal with or evade.... and some shot too.

Or look at it another way

How would you like seeing them line up alongside each other in the Albion midfield?

Very good of course,.. but I have been rooting for Ali Mac since I first saw him play, he has finally settled in, and his calm creativity is something I think we are going to relish in seasons to come.
