Tony Bloom has just turned over his poker hand to show the rest of the Premier League a full house.
Hopefully it'll give an incentive to others to stay at the club..Fantastic news - it will surely contain a release clause but great achievement to lock him down (for now) amongst interest from some of the world's biggest clubs. A terrific boon for the club ahead of this weekend and just shows what can be done when all parties work together with a willing player. Hopefully his loyalty is rewarded with some on pitch success
I think this is 1000 times better than the player 'seeing out' his contract and going for nothing, which was the likely scenario with Tossard. That’s amazing news indeed if he indeed stays with us for several more seasons.
But it doesn’t stop him going earlier just increases his transfer value - (Sorry, not trying to be negative just realistic)
(Tho’ of course a better wage deal for Moises, in the meantime)
Good on you, but I suspect 'Even Ferguson's Injury Not As Bad As First Thought' might have garnered the same reaction.WTF ! I'm getting pissed and will regret it tomorrow
Come on Mods, pull your finger out and change that thread title
I never heard anybody slagging him off.Fair play to him signing. He's obviously got a big increase but will still probably go but just means we can get a bigger fee. Less likely he run down his contract like Biss did. Humble pie for all those slagging him off.
Same, there were a few in the moment online reactions but it soon became clear it was all his agents doing. Once the club told him to stay away, and the window closed. Nobody slagged him off, he was well received back by the fans.I never heard anybody slagging him off.
That's wonderful news. Maybe you could give a link to the full contract details ?Apparently not, no release clause.
Great news. Realistically he signed it with some kind of promise or clause to be allowed to be sold for x money (£90-100m?) to x type (CL?) of clubs, meaning he'll probably move in the summer anyway. But still a strong statement for the rest of the spring.
3 Aces and 2 Kings apparentlyTony Bloom has just turned over his poker hand to show the rest of the Premier League a full house.
Yeah, I think the vast majority pointed the finger of justice and blame firmly in the direction of Caicedo’s agents, and he got a good reception on his first game after the drama.I never heard anybody slagging him off.
Tweeted by Charlie Parker-Turner, can't link it as I don't have Twitter logged in on my computer. That's wonderful news. Maybe you could give a link to the full contract details ?
Because otherwise, I'm with the swede
Likely scenario then is that TB realised that Caicedos new agents are idiots, because signing a new contract is pretty much as shite for him as going on Instagram wanting to leave was shite.Apparently not, no release clause.
I think this guarantees he’ll be here until at least Summer 2024 - very rare a player would go a few months after signing. That’s amazing news indeed if he indeed stays with us for several more seasons.
