Yes it is, but Arsenal don't know what that figure is. So when you said 'Arsenal know what they need to offer to sign him' - no, they don't
Fair enough. They know it's more than £70m.

Albion don't want to sell. They want to buy. So, if they want him, keep putting in offers. TB and co will tell them when they've hit the right number. But right now, the message being communicated is that as far as the Albion are concerned, he's not for sale. So, Arsenal know they just need to keep upping the offer, or go away.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I thought their offer was insulting. Wasn't it £30m for our player of the season? We've spend nearly £20m on players with no experience of the PL, who have turned out to be not good enough for the PL. If there were proven players like Cuckoo available for £30m, I like to think we'd bid for them.
Yep f*** ‘em all. The arrogance & entitlement is unreal.
Just a reminder to those who might have the audacity to feel optimistic... member this?

different message to ‘not for sale’ to be fair.

On a side note, I completely understand the stance of a club when they use the phrase "Not for Sale"

However, the pedant in me really can't stand the phrase. It really irks me.

Ring ring
"Brighton and Hove albion. How can I help?"
"Hi. It's Arsenal. We want to bid for Moises Caicedo"
"He's NOT FOR SA...."
"yeah, yeah we know. but we'd like to offe....."
"He's NOT FOR SALE. No matter what you say, HE'S NOT FOR SALE!"
"£190m?"
"Will that be cheque or Bacs transfer?"
I guess 'not for sale at fair market value' would probably be a better way of putting it.

The Jorginho stuff is a bit weird as I really don’t think he’s the same type of player as Caicedo. I kind of struggle to see how he’s an alternative option as is being said.

Move to Manchester United in the summer for Moises, it is his dream move apparently anyway, if they secure Champions League football it is a no brainer for him.
Probably only happens if their takeover happens

Sky and others now reporting that Arsenal are “close to deal” with Jorginho

Yep, it’s over.

Hopefully something has been brokered that see's him leave in the summer but the elephant in the room is because of that instagram post Friday night we've now got an employee we know doesn't really want to be here.

Did you say this about Dunk when he downed tools for the Fulham move? Do you still hold that against him? He’ll be 100% fine tomorrow and 99% of this board know it! 👍🏻
