Wonder what Moises is thinking right now? Poorly advised or not, he, at 21 must be wondering what the bloody hell do I do now!

Ideal would be a statement of sorts on Wednesday saying he is giving his all etc etc

Then we see him Saturday , he puts in a MOTM and everything can be forgiven and forgotten for a while.

Good test of attitude if he stays

Listened to TS (yea I know) and Jim White obviously got a call from someone high up in the club this morning and very emphatically stated to him that Caicedo is not going anywhere this window no matter what.

Blimey. Some of the comments under that tweet beggar belief.

The thing to do now is to get his head down and get back to what he does best.

Whoever his new manager ends up being come August will be watching him and if he shows himself to be the type of player to down tools when he doesn't get what he wants that won't look good on him.

Well, in an ideal world that's how it works. In this world? Maybe he sacks it all off and still gets a big money move.

So it's been "slipped out" we have the extra year option on his contract.

Naylor's playing a blinder

Some of the replies to Naylor show how partiality can occlude logic:

- 'Yeah but we beat you 4-2 at home' - Yes, when Caicedo wasn't playing. Ergo - We'd be daft to sell him.

As above I heard the same thing. wouldn’t be at all surprised if it’s PB himself - he’s on the show quite often. The statements are bordering on too strong to overturn now whatever happens in terms of bids.

Will be PB, he’s often talked to Jim White and seems to have a good relationship.

I suspect Alex Crook from TS also speaks to PB

Moises conduct up to last week has been top notch... Everyone has spoken highly of him as a person and a professional. RDZ also reiterated only yesterday that he was a very good guy. With this i mind, i suspect he is already feeling bad about what he did last week and has probably spent the weekend worrying about his actions. I wouldn't mind betting that he comes back even better on Wednesday and keen to make up for his stupid and naive behaviour

Interesting how both the two high profile players this ‘agent’ has Hincapie and Caicedo are both trying to force a move, wonder if they copied and pasted their advice to both players?

I’m not sure if it’s just bias but I honestly think if I was Caicedo at 21, I would prefer to be playing and carry on developing that going into Arsenal and fighting for a place, if I was an agent my advice would be have been sign a new contract get yourself a deserved pay rise because let’s be honest his wage here should match his ability and importance, and perhaps include a 100m release clause, which I doubt the club would argue with.

I don't think there will be any internal repercussions at all. De Zerbi has already said that he understands the position and everyone knows that this is just posturing to force the issue.

If he's still here on Feb 1st, he'll be expected to rejoin the group and crack on followed by loads of training pics of him laughing with his mates. If however he doesn't come back and stays away, that's a different story

It won't happen......but what I'd really love to come out of this is for players to, in future, to actually have a think about what THEY want to do and not what their agency recommend them to do in terms of how they conduct themselves during potential transfer interest.

It's all very well putting a pre-written social media statement out but FOR ONCE it appears a club has said "Lovely statement. It's still a no.".

If I was Moises I'd be:
1 - Embarrassed I've put out an agency-written statement in MY NAME and now have to stay
2 - Thoroughly annoyed at my new agents for advising me to do it
3 - And be really annoyed that the riches that were probably promised to me by those agents now haven't materialised. The statement itself was basically saying "I'm from a poor family and the money coming my way would be life changing". You wouldn't release that statement unless you were told "This'll help make it happen".

It would be great, in future, for a player to say "You know what Mr Agent, I'm happy with you working to get the move across the line, I'll even politely tell the club that I would be keen for the move to happen if it can, but don't drag me into playing silly buggers with the club and refusing to play/release silly statements"

The Arsenal fans scweaming wacism at Brighton (we only sell white players, and keep the black ones enslaved) has got to be one of the funniest - and saddest - things for a long time. Tw*ts!

Dazzer said that any player trying to force Tony's hand wouldn't work out well for them. I just said that's simply not true, nothing else.
I think there is a large element of not allowing the club to be held over a barrel by a kid, so we're not budging on this.

Trossard was a senior pro, 3 and a half years service, 120 appearances, 28 years old. He gets a bit of leeway to request a move. Caicedo is 21, 26 appearances, a very junior player, he doesn't get to act like this.

Bit annoyed I looked. The entitlement 🤣 but a lot are literally arsenal ‘fans’ born in Egypt etc - why oh why does Twitter exist to allow opinions from people who have no clue…!

They literally don’t get anything about football or their clubs actions. Same with all the big 6. All of them. Arrogant plastics.
