The player won't care, even if he stays for 6 months how much of an impact will it have on him? The players won't turn on him as I imagine most of them understand the positions his in, the manager will be pissed but will play him and he will be in front of fans 20 or so times, who at worst will be indifferent to him.

Taking the Brighton Bias out of it, what is better for his long term future? Being on 3k a week on 60k a week in a career that is short?

Brighton will sell to the highest bidder, if other clubs were interested they would bid anyway his actions won't change that.

Will they have failed? They have made it know he wants to go publicly, if your point about other clubs now being interested stands, he's just been able to ask for more money in wages.
How many times does this have to be said. He's not on £3k. He's on £25k a week.

What i find most annoying is plastic ****s finding it funny and thinking it’s acceptable to just unnerve players and rip squads apart, appreciate its the nature of the beast but it makes you wonder if its all really f***ing worth it? If every time we get success our squad just gets taken by those who dont like the fact we are a threat.
Brentford don’t seem to go through the same shit only a couple of points behind us.
There will come a point when every time we look like achieving success on the pitch and it’s ripped away for some more cash the fan base will start to lose interest.

If the club accepted Arsenal's bid, I'd choose the payrise and chance to win the title. But if the club said 'the bid is too low' I'd accept that. I'd also consider signing a new contract which would make my family rich beyond their wildest dreams (which they're going to be anyway if you're being honest) that includes a fair release clause.
Fair enough. 👍👍. I would certainly be asking my agents to get me a hugely improved deal to the end of the season.
£1m per year for five years (current deal supposedly) moving to £5m a year for five years or more, if he leaves is a huge uplift - but I don’t think that sort of offer can come from TB.
I still think he could be gone by Wednesday - £80m would do it

Four or five times? Really?
Dunno what he’s on but reportedly not a lot compared to others so I reckon at least 2.5 to 3 times - may tide him over for those gruelling 4 months

Because he's a pivotal part of our side that is giving the club the first chance of European football in our 120-year history.

He's a young bloke who is being poorly advised by a new agent who is trying to engineer a move because that's how he gets his own big pay day.

Everyone I know who has met or dealt with Moises speaks highly of him, and once this has blown over, he'll get his head down and do his utmost to help the club have a strong second-half of the season before he then has the opportunity to choose from the numerous offers he's likely to have.
Yes, but Moises appointed the agent and I'm sure Moises has many people he can talk to to help him balance his decisions: 9 siblings, parents, teammates (oh wait), senior players like Lallana. So, for me, it's all down to Moises...he knows exactly what his agent is doing and he's agreed to it.

I think every club outside the big 6 are with us on this one
And quite rightly too. Someone has to stand up against the so called big 6 and their attempted hegemony of English football.

How about we offer him a new contract with a pay rise so he can support his siblings back home. Maybe 80k a week which keeps him going positively until the summer. Include a release clause for the amount we would accept. He would go in the summer anyway so we might as well make it formal for whatever price we deem acceptable and then if he stays we get happy player. Only about 20 weeks so less than 2 million quid but worth it to get higher league place than rotting in under 23s.

I doubt he would sign it but if we tell him the price then up to him to make others realise he is worth it.

Sorted. Make me chairman.
Must be terrible trying to manage on £25k a week I’n not sure I could with the cost of living crisis. Could see myself popping along to the local food bank 🙄

It’s because we’ve unearthed some absolute talent recently. Fulham and Brentford’s league positions are outstanding because other than Toni, there’s no one in those squads attracting the big 6 clubs.

We’ve kept hold of Gross, Dunk, March, Veltman, Webster etc. because they’re not seen as targets for Champions League.

That’s the difference really. We are discovering international class players, that are amoung the best in the world. Victims of our recruitment being too good.

Naylor is on form. He certainly has flushed out some really shockingly thick people. He must be laughing at some of the comments.

This is really starting to hack me off. All of it. Stay loyal to a contract for more than five minutes. It's not hard.

But it’s irrelevant to this discussion.
He could be on 5 times that!! I’m not saying it’s right but it is what it is
