Pervis and Jezz will take him aside and go through his sensible option. Adam L and Danny W will do likewise. Then Alexis M will give him a big hug and a Spanish kiss and he will stay.

IMHO

Is a Spanish kiss a French kiss but they all go for a lie down half way through?

Brighton factually.....
Come on Moises, pick up the phone, call RDZ & tell him your focused and want to play Sunday…

do it big boy, you’ll get your move in the summer.
your not being held in a factory making Nike trainers and shirts, your value will only increase, you will get your dream move.
prove your a strong character as well as a fantastic footballer

I feel so depressed now, I was really looking forward to Sunday…..

im not sure I like the Premier League anymore
I would recommend starting to watch a non league side. Whoever is local to you, but Worthing and Lewes are both decent clubs.

I find it takes the sting out days like today.

Maybez. Not turning up for training may have other reasons. He wants to leave, that much is clear, but him not being at the training ground may as well be a club decision... we'll hear more about it soon enough.

The whole Trossard affair already made it clear that in Brighton these days, internal issues are settled externally. If the manager can sit at a press conference telling the world about the issues with a player, surely a player can go on social media telling the world about the (from his perspective) issues with a club. Hopefully TB or PB or someone gathers the people in the club and tell everyone to shut the f*** up and solve situations internally instead.
But MC has said its a done deal in other words, when its clearly not. That is slightly different to RDZ calling out Trossard. Im all for managers calling out players the way he did.

He is perfectly right to seek out more money in a short and elite career.
I disagree. If he gets injured and can never play again, will we be perfectly right to try and get out of paying his wages, since he's not playing any more? Would we have been right not to pay Locadia's or Andone's wages? No, the contract is the contract. He agreed it, and we will no doubt offer him more, or he can go elsewhere at some point, but not necessarily at the first opportunity.

My mate's a big Lancing fan and he was gutted that two of their best players were poached by clubs at a higher tier...

It goes on at all levels, all part of footballs rollercoaster ride

Quite tragic really that an agency has meant that someone who doesn’t have a grasp of the English language and is 21 in a foreign country is just gonna get a load of abuse so they can get a pay out and play it out on social media. Don’t think they understand the damage it’ll do. Oh well they got their quick buck.
Thats it though, agents think about them selfe first then the player they represent.

To be brutally honest, what’s the point of hanging on to him ? He’s almost certain to be half the player he’s been if he stays… it’s counter intuitive to keep anyone against their will … he’ll be gone by Wednesday I suspect, and given how this latest shit show has played out - good riddance.

Caicedo now odds on (4/5) to stay at Brighton. Those of us who took 11/2 are grinning at the moment but much can change.
I just wish I'd put more on. A bit of me thought 'hold on, do they know something already', but the fact that Arse were 4/9 suggested it wasn't a done deal. I should have bet more.

Hats off to the Club for the way they have dealt this so far.

I'm not pissed with Caicedo. I am pissed with those blood sucking leeches that are his agents.

The club must hold firm on this one or the model of buying young and cheap and selling for profit after such a short time actually playing, will ultimately fail.

The club will make money of course, but I'm sure the majority of supporters have no wish to pay for a season ticket just to see a talented youngster perform half a dozen times for the Albion and then whisked away to "the big Clubs", From a supporters point of view.....what's the f***ing point of that for us...???

If Caicedo goes this transfer window, I will not be renewing my season ticket. Fact.
