If we accept that Boehly and Potter want "The Best" and we all know they can afford it then , why the hell is it so hard for them to accept that "The Best" costs more ? .

If these annoying bottom feeders want Moises or Alexis then - Pay up or Shut up !

It's not a shame....it's perfect.
Yes. I was being sarcastic…

If you can believe any of this guff, their Caicedo alternative Andre Onana has now told Chelsea he’s not interested in joining them. For once, their love of making all their transfer business public might have backfired. Signing for a club that’s made it very obvious you were never its first choice might not be such an attractive option. They’re moving on to try to unsettle a Wolves player next apparently.

Brighton factually.....
Arsenal get a lower price apparently

Really, the fella is from Slovenija, he is possibly the Arsenal equivalent of Swansman.

Although credit where credit is due, not even our pot smoking, pizza loving Swedish boy, is not that crazy, and that is saying something.

This bloke is fast approaching that Romano bloke kind of annoying. Just spouts shit constantly in the hope something sticks and will then claim he knew it all along
Except Romano gets things right occasionally.

Jacobs just lies all day long every day, a scattergun, so that one day he’ll claim he was correct.

Craftily building an online critical mass, so that clubs will eventually think … crikey … we better use this guy for propaganda and unsettling players.

Without the internet, how would thus tw@t have earned a living?

Commentating on Lewes matches on their livestream last season. He was crap at that as well.

If Rice is worth £100m, Caicedo is as well. Rice's tag has the English tax applied, Caicedo's comes with the being a far better player and being three years younger tax.
If Trossard sold for £20 million for two half seasons, the bill for Caceido FOR TEN SEASONS IS MUCH MORE MASSIVE! Even my initial thought of £185 million seems low.

I can see us getting a deal worth £100m, but I don't expect the fee to be £100m
£75-80m + Sell on + decent Add ons Will be more likely I think.

Hopefully in 2 seasons' time.

Two and a half years left on his contract, apparantly. Surely some discussion about an improved contract will have been started - but if no agreement is forthcoming he can walk away for free in 2025.

So, it's a question of finding the baance between getting the most out of him playing for Brighton and getting the most possible wonga. Surely we can hold out this month - we'll get the same in the summer. After that, when? This time next year? - shame to break up the team half way through the season, but at least we'll have kept him a bt longer. End of the 2023-24 season would be my choice - still a year on his contract, so still a fairly hefty price.
Can we hold on until then???
