There is zero reason to sell Moises this window for any money, and if TB goes there will be a huge huge disappointment to everyone involved in our club. I just couldn’t even conceive he would rugg pull RDZ in that way when we are on such a high. The money will still be on the table in the summer if not more.
agree with this and that's why it's quite concerning we're quoted as selling if the offer is unreal instead of just stating not for sale.

Boehly spent time with a fans group and journalists today so it’s probably come from him unfortunately
I know he is making a pigs ear of things and throwing money around but even the American wouldn’t tell a fans group who they are going to bid for.

Caicedo won't want to go and play for a bang average mid-table side with no chance of European football next season.
Yup. It's all bullshit. Well, they are no doubt interested, but there is ZERO chance of him going to Chelsea this season. He is nailed on to move to one of the very biggest clubs, CL an absolute minimum. His new agents will know that. Chelsea have f***ed up this year.

You say that but Mudryk joined Chelsea today when he could have joined league leaders Arsenal. Money talks.

You guys need to remember 99% of this is made up to drive clicks.

What you have are a load of desperate Chelsea fans around the world, trawling social media for something they can feel good about. So this guy then says “ah this new wonder kid is coming” and they all dutifully click his article. This gets him more money as a result. But it’s driven because Chelsea fans are desperate.

Same with the links to Liverpool. Just like it was with Biss going to Man Utd for years. Get used to it, I highly doubt Bloom is selling so anyone this window who hasn’t sulked off to Belgium, so just point and laugh at the desperate plastics.

I wonder how the players would feel playing for Potter and the others at Chelsea? Happy to see them again or mad that they left them? I guess it would maybe give them confidence that if they went there, they would play.

I was thinking about this today. The wages from any top six club are mental. I would no more sign for Chelsea over Arsenal at the moment than stick red hot needles in my eyes, if I was a top class footballer. Money, especially when it’s an obscene amount whichever club you join is not everything is it? Maybe it is, but it wouldn’t be for me

I have no idea but I'd imagine Chelsea offered him twice as much as Arsenal would.

The Mudryk deal is a bit different, he didn’t have a choice, Arsenal wouldn’t offer what Shakhtar wanted. Obviously the mugs from Stamford Bridge will spend anything it takes and he was understandably desperate for a move to the PL. Judging by his social media output recently, I’m fairly sure he would have joined Arsenal if he had a choice though.

Me too. But maybe, also like me, you have a decent backup career though.

For most of these elite players, that have jettisoned an elite education (equivalent of A levels, degree and postgraduate qualifications) to run around in the freezing cold 5 nights a week in winter as teenagers. When they start being noticed they have to think of their futures which, if they are not eloquent or weird enough for punditry, or smart and charismatic enough for management, will be the equivalent of opening up a shop called 'Madeley's Colour Paints' with the testamonial money, and hoping for the best.

I don't blame a footballer taking the shiniest shilling one bit. Unless it is a ludicrous cash and grab decision, like that made by the tit who jibbed us out for Naarwich. Forget his name, now. As has everyone else.

Precisely. He is an Arsenal supporter, but the Arse wouldn't budge over the price. I admire his professionalism, and expect him to be a good boy for G-Plodder. Our Roberto said the other day he will be a ballon d'or winner. ???

£100k+ a week for five or six years will trump my lifetime earnings by a margin! Mudryk apparently wanted to join Arsenal, doubling the money would not have made me want to join Chelsea in preference if so. I’ll dip out now as I do not have the avarice in me that so many players appear to have. Job satisfaction would trump wages (they’d both be massive) for me. In fact I would flat out refuse to join Chelsea.

The real lesson from the deal Is that Chelsea are desperate and will pay whatever it takes to sign players other teams want. Ergo, we add at least 25% on any asking price where they are involved.

As posted elsewhere it was HIS CLUB that wanted the extra money. They would not agree the sale to the Arse.
