If it’s true that he’s holding out for a release clause knowing that’s not how we operate it suggests he already sees himself as better than us and will be batting his lashes at every big club going as soon as he gets any plaudits. Cucurella 2.0 if you will.

The alternative narrative is he’s holding out in the hope of getting something better offered to him from elsewhere. Suggesting he doesn’t actually want to come here and will be hankering for a move the moment it becomes a possibility. Cucurella 2.0 again.

The third, least likely, option is he’s already verbalising that we’re a stepping stone, making him Locadia with shitter headphones.
It look like Mac al
Do t share your confidence. But maybe you know more than mr

My take fwiw:

He is a hybrid of Alexis and Moises in one body. No particular strengths in terms of brute force vs creativity.

I’m not so sure but im not itk.

What I will say is this lad is a hybrid. A hybrid of the the defensive midfielder we are about to loose and the attacking midfielder we have already lost. Does that fit into RRZ philisophy of football? Maybe! I’m willing to take the risk.

Who would it put it past TB and PBOBE to sell our two best players and replace them with 1 (one) star that does both roles.
RDZ described him as an attacking player he will play him right wing if he joins.

Tired of this one now. Sign tomorrow, or stick where you are for me.
Yep, don't want a player who doesn't want to be here.

Sign or take your chances somewhere else.

Mr Bloom knows all about the Kudus situation …

Mr Barber knows all about the Kudus situation …

Ajax know all about the Kudus situation …

Kudus knows all about the Kudus situation …

NSC knows NOTHING about the Kudus situation …

but … 55 pages of guesswork, speculation, entitlement, pomposity, criticism, character-assassination, and advice to the club’s negotiators.

👏

This sounds to me like our first experience of negotiating with a top player with a genuinely elite mindset. We’d better get used to it if we are going to back RDZ properly and try to continuously improve.

If I were a top talent in Europe and genuinely saw myself as somebody good enough to play for the likes of Man City or Real Madrid at some stage soon then I would be doing exactly as he is doing. He’s already playing for (historically) one of the biggest clubs in Europe, this isn’t a South American wonderkid playing in Paraguay desperate for his big break.

If people are going to be obsessed with this ‘no dickheads’ thing then we aren’t ever going to be able to go much further than we are now. If you want to compete at the top then you need elite players and that means elite egos. Unfortunately that doesn’t mean negotiating with nice lads like Solly March, it means big egos who are out to get to the very top at all costs.

This guy is also 23- 2 years older than Moises who is currently trying to negotiate his way to Premier League superstardom. It’s no surprise this guy doesn’t want his big move being blocked when he is 25.

One of the worlds greatest team operate the no dickheads idea so I’m not sure we do have to accept big egos to move forward

That is disrespectful to so many experts on here who know all the negotiation details about contracts and signings.

Or at least, they think they do ;)

Which team is this? City? The wages they pay and their level means they have a much larger pool of elite players to pick from who will be bloody desperate to play for them, so they can be choosy and lay down ground rules that small clubs might struggle with. Not many, if any, already elite players on the up will be desperate to come to the Albion though.

I an sure the club has been through longer and tougher negotiations in recent windows, we have just had a tidbit of info from Ornstein that has given us some hope that it was nearly there. It just seems to me Kudus has agents that are doing their job and trying to secure the best deal possible for him, we don't know if that might involve other clubs, or just getting the right deal for him with Albion.

Surely one of the posts has hit the truth though. Then we can read the "i told you so" post from the satisfied lottery winner.

I assumed they were referring to the All Blacks where the term originated from?

Aug 28th 2015...was the start of an amazing 216 pages thread on a striker by the name of Calleri. WE STILL NEVER SIGNED THE BLOKE AND AS IT TURNED OUT WE DODGED A BULLET BECAUSE HE WAS SHITE!...55 Pages is just a warm up aye Frutos. Just another 161 pages of made up GUFF and maybe this CUDOS bloke may sign. I enjoyed the thread then and I'm enjoying this one now. Keep up the good work NSC, even if some of the written stuff is garbage. UTA and happy Kudus day! (GET STUFFED ASTRID)
