And Tariq, and possibly CH.Surely the Velt Man has had a word with him. Done deal

No one bigger than us were in for lallana or Igor. Ferguson yes but he came as a youth player not an established player like kudus in his prime.
In that case, we should tell his agent if this isn't tied up in the next 48 hours all deals are off.By briefing the press about the agreed fee they can flush out other interested parties, who can pay a bigger salary than us.
They can hold out until 1st September, hoping for a big dog to step up, knowing that they've got our offer to fall back on.
If this isn't tied up in the next 48 hours, then I'd guess that it ain't happening.
Agreed, I can’t imagine we are happy to be strung along for the whole window while he waits to see who else comes in. I think it’s more likely that the terms of the contract just haven’t been ironed out yet.In that case, we should tell his agent if this isn't tied up in the next 48 hours all deals are off.
But there’s no evidence of that at all. You’re just quoting some random bloke on the internet’s working theoryIn that case, we should tell his agent if this isn't tied up in the next 48 hours all deals are off.
If the club want him and have been working on the deal for months, they're not going to be dumb enough to slap on an arbitrary deadline and potentially shoot ourselves in the foot!In that case, we should tell his agent if this isn't tied up in the next 48 hours all deals are off.
Optimism! I’m all for it.I'm going to stick my neck out and say if this happens we will be talking about Dahoud, JP and Kudus as a step up in quality on last years brilliant squad within a few weeks.
It's an opinion, same as his ........... on a discussion board.........But there’s no evidence of that at all. You’re just quoting some random bloke on the internet’s working theory
If the selling club are happy to negotiate with interested parties why not allow personal terms to be discussed. There's no rule stating the fee has to be agreed, just that the buying club must have permission to talk. That said, I think we all suspect a lot of 'ground' work is done by agents acting on behalf of the player and/or the club. Ajax may well have employed an agent to seek out deals on their behalf.I really think the 'agreeing personal terms' before they have permission to approach a player is as simple as a club saying to the agent: "Yeah, we'll do a five year contract, £2m signing fee, £1m agent fee, £100k basic a week, xxx appearance fee, xxx goal bonus etc" and the agent saying "yeah, we would take that".
Icing on the cake Frutos will be when we finally get Calleri over the line, any news on that one yet?REASONABLY?
Bloody hell.
Again! (If true)But there’s no evidence of that at all. You’re just quoting some random bloke on the internet’s working theory
They were abysmal last season. Need a clear out.How many players are Ajax selling this summer?!

Yet they all seem to be coming to the prem. They were abysmal last season. Need a clear out.
That doesn't make any sense as they already know that at least both Arsenal and Chelsea are interested and both offer more salary than us.By briefing the press about the agreed fee they can flush out other interested parties, who can pay a bigger salary than us.

What is it with you? You seem to be on a pessimistic decline rather than an optimistic cloud! He certainly was the bright spark there re goals and assists. From right wing no less. Cheer up.They were abysmal last season. Need a clear out.
