I dont read any tweets but this from a Punkzine website got my attention:

NME is reporting that No Doubt have entered the studio to work on their first album in ten years. The band hasn't released any new material since 2001's Rock Steady. The news came via guitarist Tm Dumont's Twitter account, where he posted "Holidays over. 2010 done. 10 new songs written. No Doubt's 2011 New Year's resolution: to record our new album... beginning today!"
