I don't know how you can tell it's better from an image. I haven't seen a phone that looks nicer than an iPhone anyhow. They all have horrible qwerty keyboards or unnecessary buttons cluttering up the place.

the iPhone doesn't even do FLASH Video playback that puts it behind every WM Phone and Symbian phone on the current market for internet browsing !!!

No, it means it's behind them on that particular thing.
I have used a number of "smart" phones for internet browsing. iPhone is by far the quickest and easiest.

Haha that bloke has MASSIVE Apple envy. I'm not taking seriously the reviews of anyone who puts something as "400% better than".
If I could be bothered, I could find at least 5 online mobile review sites where the iPhone mullers everything else. I read up on it a LOT before buying it.
And that HTC Touch is HIDEOUS. There's so much un-needed crap cluttering up the screen. Reminds me of Windows style design.

The battery is is crap, on a full charge, using ifooty, or other apps/sufing net, max is 3 hours, don't even last an afternoon at Withdean.
Great phone, but the battery does not last the day.
I've used it before to watch whole films, surf the net, play games etc. Always lasts the day for me. How strange.

O2 are the only ones who do the iphone. You won't get a cheap deal on one either.
If you want an iphone wait until july time when the new 3rd generation comes out it will have better battery life a better camera and rumours are an OLED screen too. All round the new one is supposed to be the nuts and shit all over the current iphone so I would recommend waiting if you can.
Personally I'm waiting for the Nokia N97 for my next phone although if you want a cheap phone that does everything I'd go for the Nokia 5800. I have one at the moment and it is quality. Does everything the iphone does and more cheaper too.

In england (legally) you can only buy iPhones through o2. So just have a check at O2 – The UK's Leading Provider of Mobile Phones, Broadband & SIMs.
You can then unlock an iPhone you've bought on PayAsYouGo though and get on any sim-only contract you want.
