Heard lot's about the iphone, but basically looking for the best phone and deal for as little cost as possible ??

Ideally unlimited texts, unlimited internet accesss and a few free minutes thrown in ?

Any ideas on companies and recommended phones.

O2 and Tmobile are the best. If you want an MP3 on your phone then the Iphone is the best. If you want a camera then the LG renoir or the Samsung Pixon.

Camera = Nokia N95/N96
Sorry but they might only have 5MP Cameras but the Carl Ziess lens it has makes it far superior.

The only reason I wouldn't go with Nokia is I think they have fallen behind in recent years. There phones look cheap and the last one I had was very temperamental. I have not looked at the new one so I don't know.

iPhone is literally the best possible phone you could get, however it is NOT best on price. So decide what's more important for you.

If you can afford it, I promise you would enjoy the iPhone.

Look at Samsung's, LG's and the Iphone. There the top quality ones. Try and steer clear of the old samsung's as they were shit.

I Agree, I freakin hate that thing its so overhyped.

Same question to you I asked Redland.

You can't call it overrated unless you've owned one for a few months, otherwise how can you judge whether it lives up to what it promises?

(It does by the way. And then some. And then some MORE)

Good argument.

Have you owned an iPhone? Honestly they are a thing of beauty.

Seconded.

I have owned many many phones.....and consider myself a bit of a gadget geek....iphones are without doubt the best unless you want a good camera....but hey....that's what cameras are for!

Have never tried making a phonecall with a rock so maybe i'm missing something :p

I like the look of the iPhone but the camera's crap isn't it? And I use that a fair amount on my existing, due-for-upgrade phone.

Not worried about music as I already have an iPod, so it comes down to the quality of the phone and camera. On O2, preferably.

Thinking of the SOny Ericsson C905 at the moment, to replace a well worn k750i.

I have an Iphone currently and I can say it is the best phone I have ever had. The camera isn't that good but you will not find a phone that has an MP3 of the quality and memory with a better camera.

I'd say the camera is average to good. 2mp but for some reason comes across fairly well on the large screen. It's camera would sh** on your old 750i's (I can say that, having had a 750i)

I too have an iPod, so I don't use the iPhone for music.

You want iPhone for:

Far better internet browsing than practically any other phone.
Ridiculously fast texting and emailing/typing.
General ease of use and gorgeous interface.
Downloading tonnes of interesting apps.

I got that wrong, my phone is a k850i, but I take your point!
