The dealings I've had with Paul Barber have been very good. Talk to him, he gives his time, genuinely listens and I reckon he is doing his best to please fans and increase revenues to help the club climb the pyramid

I'm sure a lot of the cost is the fact were still BUILDING the stadium and other one-off costs.

.

How sure? I thought the capitalised costs are being funded from TB's loan. The £8m refers to running costs.

keep using the tissues!

Did you get the impression he doesn't give a stuff what the fans think as long as the club is making as much money as possible?

To be honest, its not his job to worry about the fans. Its the chairman and the board. If things go too far to their responsibility to reign him in. Ultimately, he is there to protect and grow their investment. Whether the fans like him isn't the most important thing, if he turns the club into a profitable organisation we'll be in a much better position to be successful. Personally, I'm glad we have someone with proper business sense at the club, especially in a time when you see so many clubs lurching from one batshit plan to another.

that said, there is a limit to how much the fans can take financially but I imagine that he'll be looking at maximising the major revenue streams that have the biggest impacts i.e. sponsorship deals.

Far too sensible and reasoned a post. This isn't how NSC works at all, tsk.
