I am AMS but don't expect any priveleges. There will be enough tickets for everyone, so stop the f***ing whining. IF there was a longer period of time to arrange the tickets then I am sure the club would have arranged priority for season ticket holders, but there isn't.

The alternative that some are suggesting would involve lots of 'gloryseekers' having to apply for tickets on Monday or Tuesday, taking time off work etc, and these people would not make the effort. The current system, flawed that it is, ensures the maximum amount of tickets being sold and thus revenue is raised for the club

I am a season ticket holder who joined the line at 8.30 am and got his ticket at 1.30 pm. We had a good laugh with people around us, got a beer in the boozer and enjoyed the sun because we knew that we were getting our tickets to Cardiff. All this moaning about ticket allocation is bollocks. The Albion done the best job they could. If all you can do is moan then f*** off back to selhurst because i intend to enjoy the whole day and look forward to taking my seat, wherever it is and sing my team to victory.

COME ON YOU SEAGULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY OR WHO CHANGED THE TITLE OF THE THREAD?
No need for that.

Hear Hear. I'm a season ticket holder and AMS member, but I'm sick of all this bloody moaning. There are LOADS of tickets and anyone who wants one can get one. Personally, I'm pretty glad that a few mates of mine who don't normally go want to be part of this event. There are too many people these days who seem to view the Albion as their own private little club just because they're lucky enough to have a seat at Withdean (Cue the "I apy a fortune for that privilege" whingers) - the Play Off Final is for the whole City to enjoy, FFS. If there'd only been a couple of thousan dtickets avaialble then there's no doubt at all season ticket holders would have had priority anyway so what's the problem?

Is it big and clever for thread titles to be changed ?
Who decides what they can write on NSC ?
If someone writes things that a few disagree with we can change the titles to take the piss ? very funny.

I blame Swindon, if they had done the decent thing and beaten us on Thursday then none of this terrible queueing would have happened

I think that season ticket holders and regular away travellers should have been given priority.

However, there is no way of ditingiushing between regular away travellers and people who are in the AMS but do not travel often.

Had the club restricted the ticket sales to certain people on the first day and we did not sell 30,000 tickets people would be moaning.

As much as it pains me to say it, to sell 30,000 tickets we will have to sell some to glory supporters. I don't want to sit next to Tottenham season ticket holders and people who queue up weaing Chelsea shirts but with the time constraints the club are working under I think they have done the best the could have done and the people working hard to sell the tickets have done very well.

cant be arsed to read all this thread but I have the general idea of what its all about! (still drunk from last night I think! )

Anyway my 2 pence worth:

Should've been Season Ticket Holders and Away Scheme Members ONLY on the first day with a max of 5 tickets per person ro something, THEN open up to the general public (including those who wish to jump on the wagon). I was in good spirits during the 5 1/2 hour queue but was asking people "where we're you when we lost 4-0 away to Brentford?! etc etc and needless to say I heard the odd person saying "I hav'nt seen Brighton play in a couple of years" and shit like that, THATs what pisses me off the most...those bastards getting tickets when loyal fans should have first refusal.

Ok, if I were a season ticket holder, I too would be moaning that having forked out hundred's of pounds I should have some priority in getting a ticket of my choice.
But before you get too irate at the ticket selling arrangements in the end was this no the fairest way? I'm a pensioner, been watching the Albion since the 1950's. Div 3 South, Divs 1 to 4, Newcastle, Cup Final, Play offs, Gillingham. Been there, got the T Shirt. Buy Withdean tickets when I can and get to some away matches. Got to Withdean Saturday at 7.45 got a ticket at 11.45. Everyone around me was in good humour and we all said that having the great demand for tickets proved how much we need a new stadium to Prescott. So am I a less worthy of a ticket than a season ticket holder? Best seats usually sell out first at any event so if you want to make sure you have to get there early. But surely the most important thing was that we can show the anti Falmer brigade that the support for our club is way over 7000 and that Withdean cannot cope with any permanent arrangement as Tom Carr of Falmer PC keeps saying.
Yes it's our club but I hope it's not a club for the few but everyone who supports and loves the Albion
