Playing at one of the best stadiums in the league will be the making of him. Then he'll come back and score a last gasp header on may 1st that will keep us up.
Why are people (not just you) freaking out about this? I was at Orient and I have to say that Virgs and Tommy Elphick were rock solid and looking back to the players they were before. I can see that it would be very difficult to just drop one and give Tunni a go especially seeing as Gus has said from the start that the back for needs to stay the same. He will go and get games and if you read what GP says about the loan it seems they are giving the fella some games like he wants and they will make sure he is doing well and he will come back.
This is what Poyet has to say "He is joining a good club and we will make sure we keep an eye on his progress and performances while he is there. We will see how things go, but we may extend the deal until the end of the season - but he will be back with us this summer, getting ready for next season."
Read the last bit, hardly a sign that we dont want him. He is young, still learning the game.
He is not playing at the moment and he will come back (hopefully a better player) A win/win situation
Can't be all bad, as so many have said in the past, he is still young and one for the future so sending him out to get some games has to be a possitive if he isn't going to be first choice.
What is better is that he is going to a league side rather than what we normally have done in the past which is sending loanees out to clubs like Lewes, this has surely got to be better for his development and definitely better for his future prospects than being stuck in the reserves or sat on the bench.
