Do you not find a drum irritating?

Yes, it should not be banged continuously at all. At many of the german games the drumming starts to get people in time (which we definitely need) and thats it. You could have a drummer up on the shelf. In no way am I a huge fan of the drum but if you look at any of the best and noisiest fans in the world they have one to keep the chants going and in time.

To be fair, if it was OUR drum perhaps I wouldn't find it irritating.

Josh Murphy is a tricky customer. I noted that in the home match. Fan behind me was adamnant he was useless though. He tricked Bruno once and got in a cross late on. I thought Maynard did OK in a lonely stint up front for them. Let down by no support.
