can someone please confirm what the engineering works are & where ??

They are near east croydon I think so instead of going from there, you have to goto london victoria take the tube to euston then train to bletchly or mk central.

Yeah but you wont be able to change at East Croydon, you'll need to get into London and get a Virgin? train from there.

Yeah but there are no southern services to bletchley because of engineering.

So...

get the Southern service to London for a fiver, then pay for a train from London to Bletchley on the Virgin service?

Should still work out reasonably cheap?

Just sorted my train tickets. £21.50 without underground. Will buy that on the day.

The initial ticket allocation sent down to us is 1,500 , these will be in the north east corner. For those who want to pay on the day they will be in the north stand along with those who buy in advance once the original allocation is sold out. Basically we can have 4,500 seats , no worries.

I'm going to be going to this one as I've just moved up to Luton from Brighton after being overseas for about 4 years. Because of that, I'm not a White member yet. Does that present any problem with buying a ticket on the gate? May be a bit of a stupid question - but I only ask because the website states "Please note that to purchase an away ticket you must be a Gold, Blue, White or Young Seagulls member", and doesn't mention whether this is purely for tickets bought online/in the ticket shop. Don't want to turn up on the day and find that the scheme still applies when buying tickets on the gate?

In related news, if it doesn't require White membership, I can give 3 people a lift from Luton (or Luton Airport Parkway) to MK Dons - if that helps make the train journey a bit easier?

Or you can go:
Lancing [LAC] To Clapham Junction [CLJ]
Clapham Junction [CLJ] to Richmond (London) [RMD]
Richmond (London) [RMD] to Willesden Junction [WIJ]
Willesden Junction [WIJ] to Watford Junction [WFJ]
Watford Junction [WFJ] to Bletchley [BLY]

Quite a mission and an hour slower, but a fiver cheaper for my child fare.
