What would of been a cracking and fun atmosphere ( not mass murder and rioting ) was totally ruined by MK Dons somewhat order the top view that blown up inflatables and balloons constitute a safety hazard of the worst kind

Was a massive bag at the turnstiles on the way out of all the "contraband" the stewards had collected

Jobs worth of the year award all round to the lot of them!!!!

What a pathetic way to treat away fans who mean no harm and just want a fun day out re last away game etc

As well as having no history they don't have much in the way of common sense it seems either

First guy that refused to give up his inflatable was at one point seemingly threatened with eviction form the ground

Hope a requirement of being a steward at Falmer is somewhat higher up the IQ scale

You could have forgiven them if they were that strict on EVERYTHING.
They gladly let me take my Fanta from the "bar" (still in bottle with cap) back to my seat (within throwing distance of the pitch) whilst they were confiscating small beachballs as they feared for people's safety.

Utter madness.

What safety hazard a balloon constitutes is beyond me, why on earth it was felt that a piece of celery should not be aloud inside a football stadium would puzzle the greatest minds alive today.

Hopefully it all gets brought to Yeovil.

Just got home. What a boring, boring away day/game.
Won't be going back to MK in a hurry.

Entering stadium MK today could well have been mistaken for entering Auchwitz. I was given the routine bag search, casually told him it was just my flag and my coat. I got asked exactly how big the flag was, to which I had no real knowledge, suggested about 6ft. I was then asked if there were any rude words written on it, to which I replied that the flag says 'Burgess Hill Seagulls', and in a cheeky attempt to win friends I added 'then it says "f*** off Palace" on the bottom'. Steward was not amused and therefore asked me to produce the flag and prove to him that it was just a poor joke :wozza:

I was behind you, and was wondering why they asked you to show them the flag :lolol:

It was very funny when that black steward tried to pick a beachball up but a kid darted in front of him and knocked it away, steward tried to get it again and a couple of adults stepped in and the steward gave up :lolol:

Why was that? Gave him a wave but didn't see what happened, I did think it was VERY unprofessional of them with all the bows, bring its e.t.c. Would have found it Hilario if someone had just nutted one of them, they'd definately have deserved it.
