[NSC] 'Missing' Thread

There is a thread about Yasin Ayari - but for some reason it doesn't appear in the Big Board listing. I have scrolled through the listing thread by thread, and it doesn't appear; I've checked against the time of the last post on it - but no, still not there.
As I couldn't find a thread, I posted one myself - somehow it got merged with the existing thread, which I couldn't find. The thread does exist - someone even managed to add a smart-alec comment - but still the thread title isn't listed on the Big Board - not via Firefox on a laptop anyway. Any ideas (and no, for the benefit of smart-alecs, I am not blind).

Was it started by somebody you have on Ignore? I had a similar situation yesterday. Took a MeMeMe oddball off of Ignore temporarily on the hunch (well near-certainty really) that it might be them and - hey presto! - up popped a dozen page thread Now safely back on Ignore

Definitely not, no. Why would that happen? This is clearly not about the player, it's about someone who lost a thread in plain sight! It's a little slice of joy.

Well thank heavens at last for someone with an idea other than exulting in being a smart-arse! Cheers - I hadn't thought of this, but looking at the Yasin Ayari thread (which I can access when someone quotes me on there) I see that the first thread is no.2 - which makes your idea seem very plausible - I haven't got HWT's peortfolio of people on ignore, but there are a few.

Can you tell me who the thread starter is? Then I'll check out your theory - thanks.

If I have, it would certainly have been accidental - I had no idea you could do that, let alone how! It looks as if THPP (in his post above) has provided a possible answer, which I'll investigate. If that turns out to be a red herring, I'll come back to you and ask if you can tell me where and how how could put in a data deletion request - and how to reverse it!

Except, of course, that there is (somewhere) a reason why it is not in plain site. That concept, however, is clearly beyond you. Thankfully one or two people have come up with sensible answers as to why that might be the case.
