Unfortunately it looks as if operations are scaling back in the hunt for Owen - and his mum has started accepting that a tragic accident is likely to have happened on the beach.
Search parties have still been going out weekly to look for any trace of his belongings, but still nothing.

Owens old football team have raised a few quid to get Stella a couple of things, as well as collecting together as many photos of the boys from games & tours over the last few years. We've also all written messages of support on, & signed, the club flag that Owen carried to the Cup Final....those will be given to Stella as well.

We keep our eyes open all the time in the hope of seeing something, but it really does feel like this is naturally coming to an end....

That's very sad. It's worse for the family not knowing and the years of seeing a face in a crowd and building hopes, the poor lady, and young man, of course.
