A ship with two underwater vessels capable of searching for the missing sub, has arrived at the scene.
I'm not sure how they can raise the sub though should they find it.

I'm not sure how they can raise the sub though should they find it.

A good magnet would help, I guess.

One of my colleagues has helpfully stated on the matter that "They'd be nothing worse than being sat in that thing at the bottom of your sea with your arse"

I would have assumed that there would have been some form of emergency beacon/transmitter/similar, should this kind of situation arise? Not saying a rescue attempt would be possible, but at least giving their location.
