I wouldn't have minded him. He was ok. Worth a place on the bench.

The one thing that is disappointing is that yet again we've failed to add any blacks to the squad.
But thats a rather silly reason just to sign him though isn't it? I want players to go straight into the squad or at least pushing for a start. We have Robinson who has pace and warms the bench.

I was refering to warming the bench not his colour.

As for the black issue, this club has never recovered from Mark McGhee's cleansing and it's going to take a strong man to build us back up into the multicultural side we should be. I want at least four blacks, and preferably a player from every continent by the time we move into Falmer:clap2:

I would also like to see us sign an albino player; not just because albino is an anagram of albion, but also because it will enrich the multiculturalness of the side and show we are a team of lovers, not fighters.

He hardly set the world alight for us but he certainly showed potential. He would have added depth to the squad and would have put in a genuine challenge for a place in the starting line up which is exactly what we need at the moment. He will do a job for Carlisle, shame we couldnt have got him.

Do you mean it's silly to sign him to sit on the bench or silly to sign him because he's black?!

To sit on the bench, no, I don't think it's silly. We do need players (about six of them) who are going to come in and make the starting line-up, but we also need someone capable of coming on and changing a game. None of the losers on our bench at the moment can do that, so if we'd got Anyinsah for free I think it would have been good business. However, he's not so good that I'm bothered he won't be coming.

i fail to see how dick knight feels a team with no latino players and only ONE black player is going to make any mark on this division

we've also been severely lacking in asian players for TOO LONG

i say just abandon this season and just sign as many random foreigners as possible

i want a papua new guinea international in central midfield, spraying balls wide to our namibian winger, who in turn will show great delight in pinging in crosses for our strike force (from belize and oman) to bury home

think of our global exposure- i feel we're missing a trick here

We have Robinson who has pace and warms the bench.

That's the only trick he has though, sadly.

He is a player that I think could benefit by going out on loan to maybe a League Two club and get some confidence back by playing regularly.

If he doesn't perform any better on loan, then it's probably time to release him, which I think is inevitable in the close season.

I sometimes wonder if you actually think before you spout off some of your bollocks. McGhee brought Kazim Richards, Trolley and Jarrett TO the club and got longer out of Leon Knight than anybody before or since. The fact that none of them stayed had more to do with attitudes and money issues ( we needed it), but your simplistic mind puts it down to all being McGhee's fault.

Bloody wish we still had McGhhe tbh, but along with Wilkins he's just being tarnished with a re-writing of history.

Adams is not half the manager McGhee is and that is a FACT ( check their respective records Adams has managed one promotion that wasn't out of tier 4)

Anyinsah got a great reception from the home fans when we were up there, then went on to play poorly like the rest of the team.

Not surprised he's opted to go there, but I am surprised that they wanted him.
