Minutes applause

I agree, a minute's applause before kick-off. During the game, you are trying to concentrate on the match and, as others have said. what happens if a goal is scored during that minute? I don't know when it became a 'thing' to have it during the match but before ko would be much better.

Also it takes a moment for fans to realize what and why it is happening. I do believe that before kick off would be more reverent. I may be mistaken wasnt the first in remembrance of Sarah Watts on the minute of her age.

I agree with this, before the match is better. Sooner or later the applause will be ruined by a goal. Either way it was still a good thing to see Ed receive such a well-deserved ovation.
