Minor PC problems help please.

Still unable to use the Go Advanced facility which brings up the tool bar with justification and font etc. Have returned laptop to factory settings still the same. Sent PM to Bozza who said it was something I had done as ok for everybody else. He said to go to settings and unclick the relevant part but what is that? I have looked at settings and there is nothing shown for tool bars or similar, what should I be looking for? Sent 2nd pm to Bozza asking this question but he is obviously busy as has not replied. Can somebody else tell me what it is I have to click to get it to work. PLEASE PLEASE, so frustrating.

Settings > general > Toolbars > unclick relevant bit > NSC > settings > go advanced > little green men on side? > enable.
