Does anyone know of an unofficial Mini specialist is Sussex? I'm pretty sure there is one, I just don't know the details.

Thanks

West is BEST
There seems to always be a lot of minis outside the garage on Western Rd in Shoreham.

Edit..think this is the same place mentioned above .

Thank you. Do you just know they're there, or can you recommend them?
Used them once or twice a good few years ago but seemed knowledgeable and a lot better than Chandlers (at the time)

There was a Mini get together in Worthing last weekend so I assume there is a local enthusiasts club locally who might have a website with recommendations.

You forget how small the original Mini was until you see it against the new models - like me forty years ago against me now, the newer one is somewhat larger.

I can't accept the newer model as a Mini. It just doesn't sit right with me.
I loved my maroon 1971 mini. My first car and my first 'love'. Simple yet very effective.

Same.

I love an old mini - the new ones are just so bloated. Much like the old VW beetle vs new.

My dad had a mini pick-up van when I was a kid in the early 80s so I've always had a soft spot for a proper mini.

With anything BMW find a decent indepedent. You won't get coffee and newspapers, but you'll get people with proper knowledge. Main dealers usually have one decent tech
