I have done. It takes a while, but the results are usually worth it.

I might even write a blog about it.

Definitely this. I don't like mince pies but I'll eat anything with custard!

Like them in all forms, with cream or custard or stand alone. Would eat them all year but they would then me nothing at Christmas.

It's a great time of year to work for a supermarket; the time when the bakers occasionally c*ck up the baking and overcook them slightly and cannot sell them...so they are left in the staff canteen for all us delighted co-workers.
