It's funny, isn't it (and this isn't a reflection on Leeds in particular, more on the vagueries of company law) that a firm can go bust, start up again with the same owners, and take over all of its assets, and none of its debts?

Surely it should go to the creditors of the old company though.

i would be delighted if that were the case, but like sten super said insolvancy law doesn't work that way. the debts and creditors were written off, lu07 took over the 'club' including any asset that was there - players, outstanding sell on clauses, monies owed for players sold (apperances, promotions) etc.
