Trolley and Byfield would be good signings for them, I reckon. Byfield's a great player at lg 1 level and despite being probably the most talentless 'footballer' I've ever seen play in the stripes, Trolley seems to have a nack of scoring at this level as well.

I'd be quite happy to sign Byfield as our 3rd striker to keep Murray and Forster on their toes. Seems to have a knack of scoring goals wherever he has been in the last 5 or 6 years. At 31 he still has a couple of good seasons left in him I would think.

Bas, like most players, was probably under contract to 30/06, but they may re-sign him. We all know that Trolly has his limitations and Byfield is getting along.

I don't think they are forwards to be feared. They all have power & height but tactically few surprises so teams should be able to defend against them.

Not as good as our mobile partnership of Murrey & Forster.

Trolley? Did he not play for them previously? I'm sure it was him on the receiving end of some knife incident or other, possibly with Moses Ashikodi.

If it is Trolley I'm thinking of, I doubt they'd sign him again. Their fans thought he was about as much use as a bikini at the South Pole.

I always thought McCammon would do a good job for us, but he never seemed to be fit. He was certainly as not as bad as people make him out to be.

Savage must really regret turning down the deal with us. I would not be against him returning as he linked up extremely well with Forster, popular with the players and fans and he would be a good option coming off the bench.

You are right on all accounts.

Would it be inappropriate, in that case, to suggest that the lovely Polly in fact has considerably more to offer up front than Mark McCammon?
