Always amazes me but why should anybody who isnt Irish celebrate Paddys Day? They dont do the same for St Georges, St Davids or St Andrews Days.

Seems the majority claim some Irishness come this date. No idea why. NYC will be out in full regalia over it today, those proud Americans that never say they are American, Irish American, Polish American, German American, et al, but never just American. I can spell Ireland, therefore I can celebrate Paddys day. Oh and I know where it is on a map (Americans don't).
