Rotherham also lost so a win on Tuesday against Huddersfield who are now safe could seal it. A draw may be enough as Wigan play us and Millwall.

After their unexpected win at Forest today, Huddersfield are on the up, having won their last two, beating them is going to prove very difficult. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we don't pick up another point. Let's just hope that 45 will be enough to keep us up.

I said before the game last night that Millwall's game would Prob be more important than ours in some ways. And it was as well - this has definately taken a lot of the disappoinent of last night away from me. Although judging by some comments on here most are still deflated!

It's the stage of the season when other results matter JUST as much as ours. We all want the season to be over and to have a summer re-building so let's be grateful for Millwall losing and another huge step to staying up and forgetting this season ever happened :)

I do find it surprising that anyone was at all worried even before today, the bottom 3 are proper sh ite - though it does remain a curiosity what the hell happened to Wigan this season

Yes we are but if on the final day Wigan or Millwall needed to win by 32 clear goals to over take us then Chris Houghton would still say lets not count our chickens just yet. Houghton is just as boring and clueless as Sami Hyypia.

God help us next season and more so as Houghton wants to sign Best from Blackburn

My word. Then I'm rather pleased that Houghton is not our manager.

Who are going to be the sh^t teams next year, just in case we need saving again?

Doesn't matter - if the League hold firm and banish QPR to the conference (if they'll have them) we'll still have one out of Wigan and Millwall to be more sh*t than us! Sure we can find another two from somewhere ........

Agree 100%. If anyone thinks we are going down, slap a little bet of £50 on us to go down (as insurance) for a return of £2.5K odd. Personally, I won't, because I think I would lose my money.

This does not mean I am happy with this season.. far from it. I am seriously p1$$ed off. Next season can only be better.. Can't it?

Having secured their survival it will be difficult to lift them so I expect 3 points.

Agreed, Hudders winning today is probably the best result for us.

Tuesday is still huge - it is our best chance of 3 points and we need them to be sure we stay up. Get behind the team

Idiot. Wigan are a world class team and in a false league position after only 42 matches. The fact that they've not won at home since Dave Whelan broke his leg in a cup final (there's one for a pub quiz) is just down to bad luck, and nothing to do with the fact that they're even shitter than us.

Hmmm it could be said that they had already pretty much guaranteed their survival before yesterday's match, they already had 48 points, but still put in a performance to win at Forest.

I wouild personally buy every Huddersfield player a pair of flip-flops and an ice cream to go on holiday with, if they agreed to capitulate on Tuesday night.

To be honest it's a miracle that we appear to have avoided relegation when you consider how many goals our strikers have scored this season. Surely has to be the worst tally of any Brighton forwards during a season, since we were formed?

If your unsure we are not safe put a tenner on at 66-1.

Even better, open an 888 bet account and take advantage of their offer of treble odds on your first bet (up to a tenner). A potential win of a couple of grand will help to give a more realistic sense of the unlikeliness of relegation from our current position.
