Perhaps there is more to it than meets the eye? Perhaps he is not 100% (Dicker, not Slade)? I think we are just going to have to trust him. Slade sees him 5/6 days a week.

Slade said after the stockport game that Dicker wasn't quite performing in the pre-season, anyone confirm this?

Slade gets to see Dicker in training and is more aware of his current form than we are on 15 minutes in a poor 9 man team.

Perhaps Dicker will get a significant amount of match time tonight.
