Here we go again, the usual 'I was at the cup final in 83 so I demand a ticket'. Yeh, and so was I but I was also at B'muff (4 times in 2 years), Burnley and all those other games no-one cared about. I'll be at Leicester next week where tickets haven't sold out yet. I'm on 442 LP's so stuff the lot of you.

EDIT Ha Ha, just noticed my Millwall ticket is only £12 for over 61's.

Agree if you go games then you get points

£12 for over 61's ... that's a bonus for me as well.

They’re not binning them, others are using them. I don’t think they’re making profit just pocketing the points.

In which case the "others" using them are jumping the queue.

No system is perfect, or ever can be, due to people like this playing the system and abusing it. Still, as long as some people get what they want, I suppose.

The club don’t help here...if you buy an away ticket but then can’t go, there is no way to get a refund or transfer the ticket, so people are bound to pass them on to others.

Anyone buying tickets with no intention of using them for themselves is depriving others that should have the chance to go.

The fact that every gangway was full of fans in the top half of the stand and rows had more fans than seats suggests people didn't use their own seats, besides Fulham has an electronic system for ticket entry so I guess it wouldn't be too difficult if they were willing to share the data

There were a lot of empty seats regardless, it wouldnt but it costs our club for that exchange of data.

depends where you were for Fulham but where I was it was rammed and a lot of people's seats were already occupied. I think a lot of fans moved from the front to avoid the rain and from the 'neutral zone' to get in with main lot of Brighton fans.

I was at the back and I can assure you there were a lot of empty seats at the back in the dry. Even worse considering that people were moving into this area and yet there were still seats free.

Thats a separate issue though, and I agree one that needs addressing. I just have little time for people who play the system, hoovering up away tickets whether they intend going or not, passing them on to whoever, then being at the front of the queue to cherrypick the big games when they come along. Thats not loyalty - its just snide.

According to the monthly newsletter of the Supporters' Club:-

...You can return an away ticket up to 72 hours before the match and, if Albion re-sell it, get a refund.

The fact that the rain/snow came ahead of the game meant that many that had seats towards the front decided they didn't want to get cold and wet and moved to drier areas under the roof.
Maybe the club should look at CCTV footage of those at the front and reliving the Withdean experience and award bonus loyalty points to those that get soaked.

Yes. Yes they should. Says someone who was near the front and got very cold and very wet

Thanks but I'm not complaining (at the club anyway). It's not their fault we have a limited amount of seats.

I shall watch on telly with my mates, who all have similar pints to me.

Good luck with your quest for tickets.

You should have an option to drink a different beer to your chums.

According to the club's tweet, allocation details released in due course - so maybe they are negotiating the lower tier?

There's a big points range for tier 2, but I reckon anyone that logs on pre 9am on Monday to join the queue will get one. There'll be people that can't go due to Sunday plans elsewhere, it's on TV, and some might not fancy it.

Ticket secured, but watch out for the pop up wanting you to buy an Albion home shirt, it slows the process down

Yes & no (didn’t do WBA away). If I still fell outside then fair enough but yes. I know at least 4 fans that buy tickets for EVERY away and go to about 50%.... they’re playing the system, which is a flawed one.

sounds like a*rse h ol e s to be fair.

Pretty sure they will vote Tory as well the selfish me me me'ers
