Isn't it worse today because there's no Sussex uni parking as its moving day? So a one off hashtag naivety from me maybe

Don't think they need more. Mill Road has a max capacity. Just depends what time people show up I suppose. It usually works quite well there. If everyone shows up at the same time of course there will be queues

Most people using this have always been pedestrians. The parking was taken ages ago. We all pay the travel element.
It worked well until last season.
It's not just max capacity of cars, there's a lot of people that live locally or get dropped off so they can get the bus

Fair. Looks awful (20mins) and that's the Google maps way, not even Considering going out the proper Mill Road exit with the one way system

The Uni moving must add to that.
Don’t understand why the club can’t ask PL to avoid home fixtures on days when infrastructure can’t cope (inc Boxing Day, of course).

Queued for ages to get to the Sussex Uni car park, o my to be told they’re full and to go to the Bridge instead.
Queue for the uni getting longer still and they’ll be told the same thing when they eventually reach the front.
A fair few people will be missing kickoff.

First time trying park and ride today
It would have been quicker to walk over the downs from Pyecombe
Doesn’t help when bus driver insistent on staying in non moving slow lane - overtaken by 3/4 ST coaches using their brains and staying in fast lane til just before junction

For all the nice puff pieces in the papers today the one thing we are definitely not

Can confirm this. We're currently on one of the EDF buses and it's definitely busier than normal on the road.

If they had 3million buses ready to go , you'd just be queueing on Mill Road to get out onto the roundabout once everyone's back in their car, instead of queuing before getting on the bus. Just thinking logically about this
