oooh
hope you've got some steps to climb on to that high horse of yours:D

actually you're right - the level of analysis has become farcical but that aside it was a shit decision to send Lampard off, especially after letting Gerrard off scot free for a worse tackle a few minutes earlier and he had an equally good view of both.

:lolol::lolol:

It's alright I've calmed down now!

I was just livid after watching that. I'd lit a lovely roaring fire, laid on the sofa, nice warm throw, curtains open while it was snowing outside, absolutely perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Then had it ruined by some Scottish knobjockey talking about nothing but the referees mistakes.

I also 'enjoyed' Gray's analysis of Benitez's substitutions.

"I would do this and this... but then I'm not Liverpool's manager" or "I think Benitez should bring on Blah Blah...but then I don't have the [coaching] badges"

Idiot.

Never had the balls. Was offered the Everton job but chose to stay tucked safely away where he could criticise everyone else, despite knowing anything about what it takes to manage a Premier side, or how to spend 15 years getting to be one of the top refs in the country.

Fookin' disgracefull performace again from a Premiershite ref. Gerrard should already have walked after booting the ball at the player on the ground and his studs up challenge and Fat Frank's challenge really didn't merit it. 2 mins later Mike Riley is smiling like a f'n Cheshire cat at Gerrard and tapping him on the back etc... For once I did have sympathy with Chelsea's whining. Can't remember Collina ever smiling at anyone or being their mate on the pitch.

Have to say, I will stand up for referees where it's due, but how Gerrard got a pat on the back and a "calm down" from Riley for his challenge, whereas Lampard ended up in the bath on his own, I will never know.

I only saw it briefly, but I swear Gerrard's tackle was the worse of the two. Still, can't be sending off Stevie G in front of his own fans, can we...
